The Champions’ World Academy (CWA) was founded to care for the most vulnerable children (orphans & abandoned children), affectionately called “Champions” on our campus. CWA is a school facility established to mainly provide vulnerable children living without care in extreme poverty with quality education and good nutrition.
The school currently provides quality education and care for 42 orphans and many vulnerable children in the poorest parts of Ghana. Recent studies show that only one child in every ten in these areas will be able to pass the mandatory entrance test for Junior High School. These innocent kids have little to no hope of a better future without education.
This problem is what CWA helps to solve by caring for children in the following categories:
- Orphaned – loss of one or both parents.
- Abandoned/Street children – who were neglected and abandoned without parental care.
- Disadvantaged – poor/needy but brilliant children whose families are unable to afford adequate education.
CWA believes these children are “Champions” but, faced with challenges due to the loss of loved ones, though they deserve an opportunity to grow up in an environment that is filled with love, encouragement and support. These, CWA helps to provide with care, better nutrition, medical care, quality education, etc., in a safe and loving environment. We can’t wait to see as each child grows to make a great contribution to their communities, their nation and even the world.
We cannot achieve this without productive partners like you.
In view of this, we hereby invite you to partner us accomplish this together. We would like for you to consider sending missionaries/volunteers to come over and help. As children advocate, we believe and are fully aware of the importance to raise up a nation of educated Godly young people. Remember, together we give hope to the hopeless.
